Impact on ARF-LA
These two destructive hurricanes focused a national spotlight on animals of Louisiana. As a well-established, active rescue organization in South Louisiana, ARF-LA was called upon to assist in this massive rescue effort.
As a result, ARF-LA was responsible for rescuing, reuniting, housing, maintaining, and aquiring veterinary care for over 100 displaced pets.
