Hi, my name is Sampson. I'm a 4 yr. old, male Bassador (Basset Hound and Labrador retriever) weighing about 55 lbs.  Now how do you think a designer dog like me ended up on the streets as a stray?  Well I did and found some fun kids that led me to my rescuers and they promised to find me a really special family and home.  Enough about how I got here, now a little bit of info about my personality.  I am a laid back, friendly, very affectionate, intelligent, and loyal with a silly disposition.  Everyone that knows me says I am such a ham. I am a happy-go-lucky boy who loves everyone, and loves to be in your lap if you let me.   I can be a little playful at times but just for short periods, you know us Basset Hounds have a reputation to hold up.  I am great with all other dogs and LOVE playing with the cat (the cat at my foster home is my best friend).  I am great around little puppies, very patient and gentle; I bet I would be just as good with children.
