Simon (named after Paul Simon, litter named after musicians of the 70’s) is an adorable male puppy looking for a forever family, born on 01/22/2018.  His mama was rescued as a stray, and then surrendered by her finders once she had her puppies.  Simon’s mama is a Rat Terrier and we suspect Dad was a Dachshund.  Simon is in need of a home that truly understands the dedication and time it takes to train and socialize a young pup. Simon is full of energy, adventurous and calms well after play time, and likes to snuggle.  He requires a home ready to spend time with him teaching all of the things a new puppy is so eager to learn. Simon is still a typical puppy...cute and cuddly, mouthy and jumpy, spunky and energetic, and has started housetraining and doing well.  He is eager to please and will do really well in a home that can provide him with lots of attention and consistency.  Adopter must have a secured fenced in yard if living in a home.  Simon is nervous around young and very active children and will flourish best in a home with just calmer and older children over the age of 10yrs.  To adopt Simon complete our online adoption application @ http://www.arfla.org/info/adoption
