Boxer (short coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult
This loving boxer Jerry and his brother Tom were found abandoned and in bad shape after Hurricane Laura. Emaciated and injured, both dogs were brought to the Animal Rescue Foundation of Louisiana where they have recovered and are now ready for loving homes. Their estimated DOB 01/10/2020 making them both just over 1 year old. Jerry currently weighs 54 lbs. Jerry is a cuddle bug, very loving and silly boy who loves everyone he meets. Both dogs know the sit command well and working on learning other common commands; they both react well to treats and strive to please and learn quickly. Unfortunately, they have not had the opportunity to be fostered in a home, so we are unsure about their house manners. Although they are both crate trained and would be easy to house train with a consistent schedule. Jerry seems to get along well with other dogs, he has been seen giving other dogs kisses through the kennel wire. See Jerry’s video @ https://www.klfy.com/the-pet-stop/the-pet-stop-abandoned-after-hurricane-laura-this-sweet-boxer-is-looking-for-a-forever-home/ . Jerry and Tom would love to go to a forever home together, but we would be happy for them to each receive a great family of their own, with an approved application. If interested, please review the adoption requirements at our webpage @ http://www.arf-La.org/info/adoption then complete the adoption application to make either of these sweet boys part of your family!
