Chihuahua / Mixed : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : Small
6/1/05 Jake was returned; he loved his new home...but not the small grandkids...He needs a home with no small children and someone who is familiar with typical Chihuahua behavior. He is a loving dog but loyal to his primary caregiver. He would be a great for an only dog home, and someone who is home alot!! He also has completed HW treatment!! 5/22/05... Jake has a new HOME!!! 4/11/05 Adoption Possible... 3/30/05 Jake is a fawn Chihuahua who was dropped at a volunteer's home. He is a three year old boy that is good with children. His former family got a new Chihuahua for Easter so got rid of this sweet boy. He was getting out and looking for love, but he will be getting neutered on Friday! He is very scared at this moment but enjoys being held! He also loves to sleep in the human bed. Do you have room in your heart for Jake? This poor guy was not only abandoned by his owners; he is also heartworm positive! A simple prevention every month could have prevented this. We live in a swamp 80%- 90% of mosquitoes carry heart worm larvae. An ounce of prevention really is worth a pound of cure. He will need to have heart worm treatment (as soon as funds are available) before he can be adopted. Call the Arf line for more info.337-332-4756
