Poor little Mindy a good samaritan brought her to the local animal control facility in tears. During one of our torrential down pours she and her husband saw her running through traffic on Johnston street with a 15 foot wire cable attatched to her collar and a cut over her eye. Poor girl was VERY thin and scared to death. She waited at Animal Control for her family to claim her and they NEVER did...maybe she is better off. Now she is being fed regularly and is very grateful for that. She also has heartworms and will need to be treated for those before she can find her forever home. She is a loving girl who is very well behaved and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She is around a year old so she still loves to play as well.
