Meet Max, a sweet adorable 2 ½ yr old petite 42 lb male black Labrador retriever mix.  Max is as sweet as they come and very gentle. Max knows all basic commands such as sit, down, come, stay, off and walks well on lead.  He likes to lay close by your side and sometimes will lie in your lap.  See him in action in his video below.  Max gets along well with most other dogs and also cats and is completely house trained.  Max bonds incredibly strongly with his "special person" and stays close by your side.  Max was originally found as a young puppy with his other 2 siblings in a crawfish sack and thrown in a ditch.  Therefore, Max is very scared of hard rain, thunder and lightning and cannot be crated or kenneled.  Max needs someone that will be patient with him during storms and doesn’t mind giving him medication during really bad weather.  Max would make a great best friend for a single adult person, retired couple or small family with only older children over age 10 yrs old.  For additional information about Max please email his foster Mom @ judy.arfla@gmail.com
