Meet Beth, a female Yellow Labrador Retriever estimated DOB 6/2017, weighs 61 lbs. She is a sweet, loving girl who loves to play and run. Beth walks well on leash and is crate trained. Beth is great with children 12 years old and older; she has not had the opportunity to meet younger children. Beth was found in a field emaciated carrying her 1-2 month old puppy in her mouth. Probably due to the time she spent on stranded and alone with her baby, she sometimes becomes protective of those around her when other dogs are around and therefore may become over protective with younger children and shows aggression toward other dogs. She has never shown this side toward people only other dogs; just being protective of her people. Beth would prefer to be an only dog with no cats, as she is very picky about the dogs she accepts into her circle; not comfortable with dominant dogs. If you have room in your heart and family for a sweet, obedient loving friend, apply to adopt Beth @ http://www.arfla.org/info/adoption.
