This loving boxer Tom was found abandoned and in bad shape after Hurricane Laura. Emaciated and injured, he and his brother were brought to the Animal Rescue Foundation of Louisiana where they have recovered and are now ready for loving homes.  Estimated DOB 01/10/2020 making him just over 1 year old.  Tom currently weighs 49 lbs.  Tom likes meeting new people, receiving, and giving affection.  He knows the sit command well and working on learning other common commands; and reacts well to treats and strives to please and learns quickly.  Unfortunately, he has not had the opportunity to be fostered in a home, so we are unsure about house manners. Although crate trained and would be easy to house train with a consistent schedule.  Tom seems to get along well with other dogs, he has been seen giving other dogs kisses through the kennel wire.  See Tom’s video @ https://www.klfy.com/the-pet-stop/the-pet-stop-found-abandoned-after-hurricane-laura-tom-is-ready-for-a-loving-home-after-his-recovery/.  If interested please review the adoption requirements at our webpage @ http://www.arf-La.org/info/adoption then complete the adoption application to make this sweet boys part of your family!
