Gunner was rescued from the local pound after being owner surrendered. The owner told the staff his malformed nose was from a shotgun going off by his nose when he was a puppy...thus his name...Gunner. Well after Gunner hunted for them...studded for them...and generally was an all around good dog for them...they dumped him at a high kill gassing shelter along with his two female buddies. Well poor Gunner had to have surgery because one of his sinuses was completely blocked from the accident. After the surgery he was back to himself. Playing, fetching, swimming, all those lab activities that may them so lovable. Now Gunner is looking for a home where he can be a happy carefree dog...with all the fetching and swimming he wants!!
