"Greta" (as in Greta Garbo, because of her pretty face and large, soft, dark brown eyes) was heard crying and was discovered shivering under a workman's shed at a nearby park by a rescue volunteer. She was cold, scared, and starving, and yet, gentle in her nature. Greta is a sweetheart, somewhat shy, and frequently smiles and wags her tail. She is an affectionate and loving, quiet little girl and she does not bark. She has learned to love the human touch. A cute personality has emerged as she will "steal one of her new doggy toys" and turn/wait for your acknowledgment. She will, also, wait for you and go step-by-step down the house stairs with you. Greta retires when you do and Greta waits until you wake as she slumbers on her doggy bed. She is smart and has done well with her house-training. She LOVES to play outdoors, too, and gets along well with children and other dogs and does not bother the cat. Greta is approximately one year old, medium-sized (28-30 lbs.), dark blond and white with very cute folds/wrinkles like a Shar-Pei.
