Marci was found in June of 2009 with a chemical burn on her side. A good samaritan picked her up and called us! She was in immense pain but had a great personality. She was indeed pregnant, heartworm positive, and a harsh chemical burn along her side. Well she gave birth to 6 healthy pups, her skin healed (still has a scar) and has been through heartworm treatment, as well as being spayed...all this in her 1.5 year life. But do not feel sorry for her, Marci's spirit shines above all her woes. She is a happy dog good with older children, cats, and other dogs.
