Hi! My name is Penny. I am a female schnauzer mix at about 2 years old. I was rescued by my friend and now foster Mom, who took me to the vet to save my life, just when I thought my life was over. Now that I am all better, I cannot wait to find a home with a human who can shower me with the love I never knew in my past life. I think I would probably do better in a home where I am the only pet since I never really socialized with other dogs very much in my early life, I just don’t feel very comfortable around other dogs.  Also, I really want to be able to have the time with my human(s) to be able to experience complete love and develop the trust I was never able to feel before. I am just learning now that humans can actually be loving and that I don't have to be afraid of them; it's a wonderful feeling.  I actually love lying in my foster Moms lap or just lying beside her, where I am safe and loved.  I am now crate trained and working on house training and I am getting pretty good at it.  I sleep in my crate at night right on the side of my foster Mom’s bed which makes me feel secure.  I love having a big fenced in yard to run in since I used to be tied up all the time and enjoy playing with my own doggie toys.  The only thing left for me to find is the perfect human/family to bond with and love.  For more info and meeting me email my foster Mom Darlene @ kachian@charter.net
