Napoleon is a delightful 6 month old male black Labrador retriever, and currently weighs 30 lbs. He is without question one of the bravest and pleasurable puppies we have fostered.  Napoleon has such a wonderful temperament and is very smart.  He walks well on leash, knows sit, down, wait/stay, come, off, leave it and understands no; he is eager to please and learns quickly.  He also knows to sit for his food and wait for command to be released to eat.  Napoleon is crate trained and housebroken with supervision; he has now learned to go sit at the door and wait to go outside to potty.  Napoleon loves to play with his lab foster siblings and can keep himself entertained when indoors with his toys and will settle down on his own and just chill on his bed in the living room. He also loves the cats; he will play and try to snuggle with the dog friendly cat and has learned to respect the boundaries of the not so friendly cat.  Napoleon was surrendered to us at 6 weeks old with a broken hip and pelvis.  By the time we got him to the vet his hip and pelvis had already healed out of place and he was unable to stand on his hind legs.  The orthopedic had to re-break the hip and repair with 2 pins.  He is now healed and able to walk and run like a normal puppy!  He was such a trooper thru all of his surgery and healing never showing any pain and it never slowed him down.  Napoleon is a happy, playful, attentive and cuddly pup that settles down and is also content lying next to you or just chilling in his bed ... all the qualities that you want in your best doggie friend. He dreams of having a family with kids to run and play with.  If you have room in your heart and family for a loyal and dedicated bundle of love, contact us to make Napoleon a member of your family!
