This handsome 9 pound boy was once a stray who was picked up by animal control. Not claimed and in need of vet care, ARFLA took him in. It has been a bit of a battle for him through heartworm treatment but he is healthy now.
Jacque is very shy. He needs time to learn to trust new people. He gets along with other small dogs but is not a fan of cats. He is afraid of cats. He is paper trained and will also use a pet door or go out with you to potty. He does not like walking on a leash but I think he can learn to like that in time. He is very quiet. He will sit on a chair with you but prefers not to be held. Jacque will be adopted to a quiet home with no small children and no large dogs. He has been through a lot in his 3 short years and needs a patient person to love him.
