Join us for the annual ARF-LA fundraisers this summer and bowl 3 games of 9 pin no-tap bowling for $10 in support of homeless dogs in Louisiana. 9 pin no-tap means that you will get a strike when you bowl a 9 or a 10 count pinfall. 

Each fundraiser is the second Sunday of each month -- June 12th, July 10th and August 14th from 5:30 pm- 8:30 pm. Animal Rescue Foundation of Louisiana (ARF-LA) is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to improving the lives and welfare of homeless dogs.

Visit their About Us page for more info about our organization. Call Fred Barbaro at 781-2579 to sign-up. Walk-ins are welcome but we encourage you to RSVP as lanes are limited.

Cat Tales and Doggie Monologues V

Acting Up (in Acadiana) presents CAT TALES AND DOGGIE MONOLOGUES V, the 2017 Student Showcase. An original play written by Acting Up (in Acadiana) students with contributions from Sarah Mikayla Brown, Lian Cheramie, George Saucier, Harmony Decker, Amy Waguespack and numerous community contributors. Performances take place Monday and Tuesday March 27 and 28, 2017 at the Acadiana Center for the Arts. 

CAT TALES AND DOGGIE MONOLGUES V personifies the stories of dogs who live or who have lived at ARF-LA and cats from Acadiana Animal Aid—two local no kill shelters. Both humorous and touching, the production aims to educate  the public about the mission of no kill shelters and to teach the young actors how they can make a difference through their art. 


Directed by Amy Waguespack, with assistants Samantha Degeyter, Ashley Mays, Kayleigh Byrd and Jessica Hackett, CAT TALES AND DOGGIE MONOLOGUES V features performances by actors ages 7-17, with cameo appearances by professional company members Lian Cheramie, Kerrie Chatelain-Milbert, Belle Saucier and George Saucier.

Wish List and monetary donations will be accepted for ARF-LA and AAA. Click on link for list.

All performances will take place at Acadiana Center for the Arts, 101 W. Vermilion, Lafayette. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for high school aged and younger and Seniors.
